The Texas Chapter Public Relations Chair and committee will take a proactive approach to media outreach. He/she will help their chapter establish an effective public relations program to increase public awareness of the landscape architecture profession.   Assist with Social Media, review weekly electronic newsletter, monitor news from National for distribution on the Texas Chapter website email notices.  

The chair will be the Texas Chapter representative for ASLA and will participate in the Public Relations meetings. and report to the ExCom.  The Chair shall attend the monthly ExCom meetings to provide State and National update.  

May also be involved in creating graphics for website and social media.
