Distinguished Member Award
This is a Chapter Award and is presented to a Texas Chapter ASLA member who has made significant contributions to the profession and/or to the society in the State of Texas. This is the highest honor that the Texas Chapter can bestow and a way of recognizing someone for fellow-like contributions of service and achievement. This award is intended to honor a career of work.
Mr. Jamie Cooper, ASLA
Environmental Stewardship Award
Open to both ASLA members and non-members. It seeks to recognize outstanding contributions in enhancing, preserving, or promoting positive quality of life on behalf of society at large. Often this award is given locally in the city in which each year's Chapter meeting is held in order to generate positive publicity on behalf of the Chapter and the Profession.
