LADY BIRD JOHNSON PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOP SERIES
The Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center is hosting a three-part workshop series this winter and spring, titled Principles of Successful Sustainable Landscapes, with both classroom and in-field training. The goal of this professional series is to help train contractors and design professionals for efficient and successful specification, installation, and maintenance of projects which have sustainable features, including: ecological restoration, native plants, low-maintenance and water conservation landscapes, as applied to roadsides, parks, turf, residential yards, commercial campuses and utility corridors.
For more information on the course and topics covered each day, please visit: http://www.wildflower.org/edg_workshops/
Please feel free to share with others as well. ASLA and LEED CEU credits available.
It is recommended that participants attend all three workshop sessions as content builds across the series, including the outdoor field components. Course certificates will also be issued to demonstrate that attendees completed The Principles of Successful Sustainable Landscapes Professional Workshop Series at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center of the University of Texas at Austin.
The workshops will be held at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center from 9am - 4pm on February 27, March 26 and April 23.
