Wayne Cooper

H. Wayne Cooper has over 28 years of experience as a landscape architect and planner, and is a graduate of Texas Tech University. Wayne is a registered Landscape Architect in Texas, Arkansas and New Mexico, and has also been a Certified Planner since 1996. He is a Licensed Irrigator in the state of Texas and is a certified water auditor and Water Sense partner with the EPA. In addition to his practice as a Landscape Architect, Wayne is a City Councilman for the city of Pflugerville, and is an advisory board member for the Capitol City Trade and Technical School CAD program. Wayne is a former a Planning and Zoning Commissioner in Pflugerville, and was a Commissioner in the Capitol Area Planning and Zoning Commission, in Little Rock, Arkansas while he lived there.

Wayne has a wide range of skills and experience in project management, planning and landscape architecture, and construction management for a wide range of projects, including public sector improvement programs, planning and urban design projects, river restoration and corridor improvement projects, sports and athletic facilities, and park and open space projects.

Margarita Padilla-Posey

Margarita Padilla-Posey is originally from Guatemala. Her experience ranges from high end commercial projects, public park projects, irrigation design and marketing. She is currently working in the construction department at Native Land Design, a landscape maintenance company. Ms. Padilla-Posey holds a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University.

Her goals for ASLA this year is to initiate more involvement in the central Texas region.

Anna was born and raised in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Art in Landscape Architecture.  After graduating she moved to southern California where she worked with a large landscape architecture firm.  During that time she specialized in master planned communities and residential design.  In 2007 she moved to Boston for a brief period before moving to Austin.  Her work in Boston centered on public, urban spaces.  She currently works with a multi-disciplinary design firm and focuses mainly on commercial development.
