CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2016 TEXAS ASLA FELLOWs

2016

Timothy Peterson
Principal, SWA Group
Houston

Timothy Peterson joined SWA in 1987, was employed for four years and rejoined the firm in 1998. Fifteen of Tim’s thirty six years in the profession were spent working for design/build firms and landscape construction companies. This experience has been invaluable for his comprehensive knowledge of the relationship of design and the built work. In those years, Tim learned how to estimate, bid work and ultimately implement projects that met deadlines and budgets. This practical experience coupled with his thorough understanding of design has  positively impacted his work at SWA resulting in numerous award winning projects that were ultimately realized on time and on budget including: Buffalo Bayou Promenade, Hermann Park, Cross Creek Ranch, Lone Star CyFair College Campus, and McAllen Convention Center.
